Brace, Then Pull

A 60-second gym chant that drills the deadlift cue: brace hard before the bar leaves the floor.

Brace, Then Pull

This week's cue is simple enough to remember under a heavy bar: brace first, then pull. The track turns that deadlift reminder into a short chant for the last breath before the rep.

Cue

Brace before the pull so your trunk is set, the bar stays close, and the lift starts from tension instead of a yank.

Lyrics

[Intro] Bar close. Breath in. Ribs down. Lock in.
[Verse] Feet set, shins to steel Grip bites, heels feel Air in, belly hard Lats tight, back guard
[Pre-Chorus] Brace first Own the floor Hinge back Ask for more
[Chorus] Brace, then pull Brace, then pull Tight like a drum Then drive through Brace, then pull Stay stacked, stay cool Bar close, chest proud Brace, then pull
[Bridge] No yank, no slack Set your back, hold that line Push the ground away Let the bar climb
[Final Chorus] Brace, then pull Brace, then pull Tight like a drum Then drive through Brace, then pull Stay stacked, stay cool Bar close, chest proud Brace, then pull
